The San Francisco Rudds returned home today after their Texas Tour 2006. I hadn’t seen them since March, when I helped them move to the west coast.

For Halloween, Judah wanted to be a pirate. Somewhere along the way everything turned pink and purple and she became a glamour pirate (perhaps I’ll have to upload a color version of this picture to represent the full effect). She would run up to a door, hit it with her sword and, when the door opened, she would yell “I want candy!” We would say “No no, Judah, say your lines!” “Oh,” she said, “give me all your booty! Arrrr…” Precious, for sure.

And, after all that, I still walked away with no pictures of Killian, my nearly 11 week old nephew. Guess I’ll have to fly to San Francisco for Thanksgiving to take care of that.
